I have been snowmobiling for over twenty years now and god, they just keep getting better and better. I started with a 1972 Arctic Cat Cheetah, top speed 35-40 mph.Now I have two SKIDOO Formulas, top speed? Let's just say somewhere over 100 mph. There is a reason why someone can ride at this speed and above it summed up in one word TECHNOLOGY. The snowmobiles of today are equipped with fantastic suspensions, braking and aerodynamic design. Give one a try, You'll agree.Businesses have only begun to capitalize from this great sport. Some towns have redesignated their roadways to snowmobile routes, which has allowed many businesses to operate year round. Hotels in summer country towns now find they are full on weekends and in some areas, like Speculator and Old Forge in New York, have to turn people away. Jump on a sled today and give it a try! You'll see you don't have to take the family to Disney World for a great winter vacation. |
